Service Level Agreement

1. Overview

This Service Level Agreement ("SLA") describes the uptime commitment GOC Webhosting makes to its customers for shared hosting and WordPress hosting plans. We are committed to providing a reliable, high-availability hosting environment.

2. Uptime Guarantee

GOC Webhosting guarantees 99.9% network uptime for all hosting services, measured on a monthly basis. This equates to no more than approximately 43 minutes of unplanned downtime per month.

Uptime is calculated as:

Uptime % = ((Total minutes in month − Downtime minutes) / Total minutes in month) × 100

3. Exclusions

This SLA does not apply to downtime caused by:

  • Scheduled maintenance windows (announced at least 24 hours in advance)
  • Actions or inactions by the customer (e.g., misconfigured scripts, exhausted resource limits)
  • Third-party service failures beyond our control (e.g., upstream network providers, DNS registrars)
  • Force majeure events including natural disasters, power outages, or government actions
  • DDoS attacks or other malicious activity directed at the customer's account or our network
  • Accounts suspended for violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy

4. Scheduled Maintenance

We perform routine maintenance to keep our infrastructure secure and up to date. Where possible, maintenance is scheduled during low-traffic hours. We will provide at least 24 hours' notice for planned maintenance via our announcements page and email.
